gpoll1452154d8bNo quick coffee!!
gpoll1452154d8bIt was a community hub and my daily stop for coffee and baked goods, sandwiches and sundries.A cafe/bar and market where friends, neighbors and visitors can meet for a snack and conversation.South Williamstown sorely needs a gathering place that fosters a sense of community. I miss not having a place to get a cup of coffee in the morning or to pick up appetizers in a pinch.Email hidden; Javascript is required.
gpoll1452154d8bI wasn't here when it was open, but I heard a lot about it. There are times when I wish there was a place nearby my home where I can go for snacks and drinks, a quick/light meal, pantry items, coffee, tea, etc. Some produce, prepared and hot foods, pantry items, breads, baked goods, snacks, coffee and tea, wine and beer at a range of price points. Indoor and outdoor seating would be nice. A place to buy Transfer Station stickers, lottery tickets, wood, etc. Will the Williamstown Town Council have to be involved in the process? If so, how?Email hidden; Javascript is required.
gpoll14d534cdf8no place to pick up milk, bread, etc without driving into town. I miss taking visitors to the Store! Also it was a good resource for simple house gifts, and a great place to enjoy lunch outdoors. Not to mention it was the "hub" of the neighborhood!basic grocery supplies, beverages and foods for lunch (take out or eat in) bakery/coffee offerings as well as locally sourced food productsThis is a historic building, important not only to the south Williamstown community but the whole town- do we really want to lose it to the development of another Cumberland Farms or Dollar Store? The building itself has beautiful architecture and is a functional space for retail as well as living space.Email hidden; Javascript is required.

gpoll1452154d8bFurther commute to get itemsBasic groceries (milk, eggs, pasta), coffee, wine and beer. Alternatively, a restaurant or pub would also be a welcome additionSad to see the space sit vacant. Hopefully some type of business will move in again soon.
gpoll14d534cdf8last minute rush to get suplies for VRBO rental in New Ashford.Organics and sandwiches.
gpoll14d534cdf8It is so sad to see this place closed. It has such history and potential as a community anchor. Prepared foods, groceries and gifts from 5 Corners have been important to our family. We miss it terribly .Bread, basic groceries (milk especially), baked goods made on site, prepared foods such as soup, quiche, salads, etc.It will be very important to have a creative person, who understands the potential of the site and the importance to the community.Email hidden; Javascript is required.
gpoll14d534cdf8no close place to get basic grocery items, newspapers, coffee, sandwiches, bread, etc.local produce and products; basic services like an ATM perhaps; newspapers, food to go, food to eat inEmail hidden; Javascript is required.
gpoll14d534cdf8Miss newspapers, dairy, wine, coffee, deli, bakery, friendly folksAll of the aboveWhat effect on store of traffic rotary
gpoll14d534cdf8Inconveniences in not having groceries, snacks and meals at the ready in the neighborhood, but true loss measured also in loss of our community gathering place. The Store was the heart of South Williamstown, as well as a destination for area residents and tourists.groceries, snacks, coffee, sandwiches - offerings for locals and tourists - we have fond memories of croissants, overstuffed sandwiches, hearty dinners to go!If this community treasure could come back to life, this would be something to celebrate! Nowadays people value and support local!
gpoll14d534cdf8Used to have coffee and/or lunch there with son and his family,Coffee and other beverages, sandwiches, snacks, homemade treats.
gpoll1405d616d8None, I usually go to Cricket Creek for milk and now ice cream too.affordable wine (not just fancy high end options)While it would be wonderful to have the store open, I understand that it is a major challenge to make a store there economically viable.
gpoll1452154d8bWe are far from all grocery stores in south Williamstown. We loved the convenience of a bottle of milk along woth so much more.groceries ,wine, sandwiches, ice cream,Email hidden; Javascript is required.

gpoll1405d616d8Place for lunch, pick up dinner and groceriesDeli, groceries, take out lunch and dinners
gpoll14d534cdf8Not a hardship by any means, but was wonderful having the store so close to home.Deli foods, bread, cheese, drinks, etc.I think some of the neighbors made it difficult for the owners of the store and the farm store and hope they will be more supportive in the future if we are fortunate enough to have a new owner.

gpoll14d534cdf8It’s absolutely heartbreaking to drive past the closed store day after
gpoll14d534cdf8It’s heartbreaking to drive past the story every day, knowing well the many fine folks who have worked there over the past 20 years. Such a shame….Wine, coffee, breakfast & lunch items; there have been some fabulous baked goods offered there over the yearsOn the other hand, when Guidos (?) had a iron in the fire at neighboring Green River Farms, that was great, esp as regards steaks, rotisserie chicken, etc
gpoll14d534cdf8The store has for over 30 years has provided me with milk, the NYTimes, wine, sugar, coffee, foodThe store is a necessity a) for creating community b) serving those folks who work in the community, i.e. the service and repair people, the folks who work in the gardens, repair houses, route 43 c) service the folks in south williamstown, like me who would use it for shopping and d) important for tourism - ski season, fall season and summer season (even mud season!) ; the lit up X-mas (holiday) tree cheers up the neighborhood in the winter; Products: we don't need $200 aprons or bottles of balsamic vinegar, but staples and prepared food, plus the treats for tourists..Email hidden; Javascript is required.
