gpoll1405d616d8Have missed sitting outside with friends/family for coffee; have to drive to town for milk, etc or do withoutWould like a mix of store & restaurant; sell basics like cheese, locally produced bread, etc AND pastries, coffee, sandwiches (Tunnel CIty on Spring St, Haven in Lenox)Less expensive food (within reason) would be great, might draw more locals
gpoll14d534cdf8We appreciated being able to pick up basic groceries. We also deeply miss having a place to meet up with friends for coffee and a meal.Coffee/tea/meals
gpoll14fc853a30honestly it's just nice to be able to get milk there now and thenless rarified high-end tourist stuff and more staples: milk, OJ, coffee, egg salad sandwiches, paper towelsThe Putney General Store in Putney, VT, is, in my view, the ideal model for what Store at 5C could be...
gpoll1452154d8bCafe (coffee, kid friendly beverages), staples from local farmers such as organise milk, cheese, eggs, produce, and then some pharmacy and garden basics too!We wholeheartedly support reopening the store and very much want to see an independent owner invested in the community making it happen, so we can also invest in them!Email hidden; Javascript is required.

gpoll1452154d8bConvenience items (milk, eggs, etc.) and breakfast and lunch
gpoll1452154d8bDifficulty of accessing food in south williamstown; particularly difficult for those of us who prefer to rely on bicycle transportationgeneral groceries -- milk, bread, produce especially; would love to have (and would frequently buy)sandwiches/soups/coffee/pastries

gpoll14d534cdf8Have to travel for any little thing. Miss the atmosphere of the storeQuality lunches and gifts, variety of small items, fine wines and craft beerWould prefer independent but would still visit the store if notEmail hidden; Javascript is required.
gpoll14d534cdf8not being able to get staples, lunch, coffee, gifts, newspaper, drinks; the neighborliness and socialization that it offeredAs before - a variety of baked goods, sandwiches, bread, staples, some gifts, coffee, newspapers - and a welcoming presence! As a neighborhood association, we should protect what we value in our community. This is a historical building that needs to be preserved and I support all efforts to do so.Email hidden; Javascript is required.
gpoll14d534cdf8We would go pick up lunch food when we had guests and use it to pick up a few food items as needed since it was very convenient. Now have to go into town and while it's not super far, it makes a difference.Deli, baked goods, critical food products but also tables, local and specialty products like local maple syrup. Was also great when it had newspapers.Although I checked "infrequent" I think the Store also adds character to the area and is also attractive to tourists. For many it's the first thing they see when coming into town and my sense is that many people stopped there. I'm not opposed to a chain running it IF they keep the character of the store. But better that than it standing empty.
gpoll14d534cdf8The ability to get items needed on short notice, eggs, milk etc and not having to drive to Stop and Shop. Having some deli and bakery items was great as well. It was a great place to grab a sandwich and meet a friend for coffee or lunch.General products, bakery items, coffees, place to have lunch, local items, syrups and cheeses, local crafts

gpoll1405d616d8It's a long drive to get milk, butter, ice cream etc. Also miss prepared meals, sandwiches and special treats.Milk, butter, ice cream, snacks. Prepared meals & sandwiches. gpoll1452154d8bWe really came to rely on the Store at Five Corners, for breakfast and lunch, for quick groceries (like milk or wine). Not having the Store open while I'm on my way to work or taking our kid to school has been a real loss.much of what was there before: breakfast and lunch items (there was an amazing baker at one point who made the most incredible items), coffee, beer and wine,.Email hidden; Javascript is required.
