BARBARA WINSLOW TO SPEAK AT SWCA’S ANNUAL MEETING TUESDAY, JUNE 11, AT 7PM AT SWEETWOOD

Dear South Williamstown Community,

It's a time to meet your neighbors, join a committee, get a report on the past year
and give your input on what you'd like us to do during the next one.
It's the Annual Meeting of the South Williamstown Community Association
at Sweetwood, 1611 Cold Spring Road, Tuesday, June 11 at 7pm.
There will be refreshments and SWCA member Barbara Winslow will talk about the long struggle for women to win the right to vote and programs we're planning to celebrate the 19th Amendment's centennial.

Barbara Winslow is professor emerita of Womens and Gender Studies at Brooklyn College and the founder and Director Emerita of the Shirley Chisholm Project of Brooklyn Women's Activism. She is the author of numerous books on woman suffrage, gender in the schools curriculum, women in the history curriculum and the only scholarly book on Shirley Chisholm.
Hope to see you there,
Bette Craig, President
